How to use

Choose your two cards. Enter 0, 3, 4 or 5 community cards and 1 to 8 opponents. If their cards are known, add them in the Opponents section. The calculation will begin on its own.

How is the result calculated?

The calculator iterates through possible outcomes or simulates random distributions. Unknown hands are considered random. All participants make it to the showdown; bets, folds, rake and side pots are not modeled.

Frequently asked questions

How is a win different from a share of the pot?

Winning without tie means that only you have the best combination. The pot's expected share also takes into account cases of tie. It doesn't mean profit.

Why are some percentages approximate?

When there are too many outcomes, the calculator simulates random distributions and shows the ≈ sign. With a exhaustive enumeration, the result is accurate for the selected conditions.

Is it possible to indicate the opponent's cards?

Yes. Open "Indicate opponents' cards" and turn on "Cards Known". The rest of the hands will remain random.

Where are saved hands stored?

In this browser's storage on this device. They do not sync with other devices.

Is registration required?

No. The calculator is available for free without an account. Check the rules of the site where you play.

HOW TO READ THE RESULT

What the numbers mean

01

Win outright

The probability that at showdown you will have the single best five-card hand.

02

Ties and equity

A tie means that two or more players have equally strong best hands. Equity counts your share of the pot in those outcomes, such as one third with three winners.

03

Unknown hands are considered random

All of your opponent's valid cards are equally likely. His bets and habits are not taken into account. If the hand is known, it can be indicated in the “Opponents” section.

04

Estimation error

When modeling, the result is an estimate. Increased accuracy reduces random error, but does not eliminate uncertainty about the opponents' actual cards.

It is assumed that all remaining participants reach the showdown and claim one common pot. The calculator does not estimate the profitability of the solution.
